A highly unique Zenaga rug, 1980s-1990s, from the southwestern Jebel Siroua region in southern Morocco, with a modern graphic quality. The boldly colored composition consists of smaller scattered rectangle motifs in a red open field framed by a striped theme. The overall design is finished in a refined way with a mixed technique of pile and flatweave, creating a relief-like surface on the top edge.
