ZAER N° 330ZR

An elongated carpet, 1970s-1980s, from the Zaer tribe, southeast of Rabat, with a distorted checkerboard pattern in candy colors. At first glance, this rug could be mistaken for a Boujad rug, but the back side and the fine surface reveals its true origin. It can be used on both sides. The reverse side shows a blurred painterly effect with a less pronounced pattern but more vibrant colors. A high resolution image of the reverse side is available upon request.
